The fee for a 50 minute individual session is $175. Longer sessions can be requested and will be pro-rated accordingly. Accepted payments are cash, credit card, debit card or health savings account. Full payment is due at the time of service. Although Firelight Counseling PLLC does not work with insurance companies, your provider would be happy to give you a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Some health insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network providers. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to learn to what extent your plan covers out-of-network private pay mental health services.

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items or services. 

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. 

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute your bill. 

• Make sure to save a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
